Workshops
My studio is part of the community of artists at Artworks Center for Contemporary Art in downtown Loveland. Lovingly referred to as the "Big Picture Creative Cocoon," it is a cozy space to for one-on-one coaching sessions and small gatherings. I designed it to be a welcoming place for muses of all kinds to feel safe.
I take a playful approach to art and personal enrichment. All kinds of supplies are available for your creativity to come alive, from yarn and pom-poms to paint and pencils. We get to know our muses through simple art & craft techniques.
And we have fun in the process! It's okay to let yourself play because discoveries and joy are found there. Contentment, love, all the good things. There's no reason to deny ourselves the creativity and imagination we had as children when we grow into adults.
Together, we inspire each other!
aMUSEment Parties
Each month, we gather to make a different seasonal muse. These creatures have unique attributes that activate the magic of the year’s cycles. They are perfect companions for the creative journey, with more stories being added to them each time a new one is made.
Reflection Sessions
Get hands-on with your life story and learn to integrate your memories in a new way. We will weave “life webs” that put your timeline into a cyclical format. They combine the traditional crafts of dreamcatchers and ojos as a visual storytelling object.
In this step-by-step process, you'll learn how to the compass directions of the Ojo serve as a guide to interpret the eras of your life. We use simple craft supplies and found objects from nature, as well as personally significant beads. You can bring your own or find them in our collection.
